Tour prices are available on request.
According to the preference of clients, we book rooms in hotels ranging from the luxurious, fine first-class and tourist-class hotels in major tourist areas, to simple rustic inns in remote areas, most with private baths.
We have a fleet of 4WD vehicles for tours to the countryside, coaster buses, minibuses, and deluxe big buses for sightseeing tours in and around Addis Ababa.
English-, French-, Italian-, and German-speaking guides are available. We can provide other languages upon request.
- Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours acts only as agents of passengers in all matters relating to accommodation and transportation. However, Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours shall not be liable for injury, flight schedule changes, and delay, loss or damage arising from any cause and in any manner whatsoever.
- The laws of Ethiopia govern the liability of Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours to passengers carried in its own vehicles, and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises. All vehicles of Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours are comprehensively insured.
- Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours reserves the right to employ subcontractors whenever necessary to carry out all or any part of the services agreed to be supplied and in any event of the exercise of such right the terms of clause (ii.) related to Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours’ liability shall apply.
Payment can be made through bank transfer, in cash, or with credit card. Other methods of payment can be discussed in advance.
Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours will charge a percentage of the tour cost for a cancellation:
a) Up to 30 days before arrival: 25% of the tour price.
b) From 29 to 14 days before arrival: 50% of the tour price.
c) From 13 days to to the day of arrival: 100% of the tour price.
H) Changes in Service Performances
In the case of considerable modifications to travel services agreed upon in the travel contract that become necessary after conclusion of contract and are not brought about by Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours contrary to the principles of good faith and trust are only permissible if the modifications are not substantial and do not impair the overall travel arrangements.
Possible warranty claims remain unaffected as far as the modified travel services are impaired by deficiencies.
Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours is obligated to inform the customer of substantial modifications to travel services immediately after learning about the reasons of the modification.
In the case of a considerable modification to a significant travel service, the customer is entitled to withdraw from the contract free of charge or to demand participation in another trip of equivalent value, provided that Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours is capable of offering the customer such a trip without extra charges. The customer must assert these rights without delay after being informed by Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours of the modification to the travel service or the cancellation of the journey.
I) Force Majeure
In the event that the journey is hindered, endangered, or impacted due to force majeure that was not foreseeable at the time of conclusion of contract, both Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours and the customer are entitled to terminate the contract.
J) Passport, Visa, and Health Regulations
The customer is responsible for attaining and carrying the required travel documents and any necessary vaccinations as well as for adhering to customs and currency exchange regulations. Any penalties due to non-observance of these regulations (e.g. payment of withdrawal costs) are at the customer's expense.
K) Choice of Law and Place of Jurisdiction
The legal and contractual relationship between the customer and Grand Holidays Ethiopia Tours is entirely subject to Ethiopian law.
We highly recommend buying a travel insurance policy when booking the trip.
